About us
Empowering entrepreneurs to transform space innovation into successful businesses.
What is ESA BIC
The ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) are the European Space Agency’s largest network for space entrepreneurship. Present across Europe, the ESA BIC network currently comprises more than 30 incubation centres and has supported over 2,100 startups since its creation. ESA BICs help entrepreneurs transform space technologies, satellite data and expertise developed for the space sector into innovative products and services for both terrestrial and space markets.
Through funding, technical support, business coaching and access to a unique network of industry, research and institutional partners, ESA BICs help entrepreneurs transform innovative ideas into successful businesses, contributing to the growth of the European space economy and innovation ecosystem.
ESA BIC Castilla-La Mancha
ESA BIC Castilla-La Mancha was created to connect the region’s scientific, technological and entrepreneurial talent with the opportunities offered by the space sector. As a member of the European ESA BIC network, the programme supports startups that use space technologies, satellite data or expertise developed for space applications to create innovative products and services.
Managed by the Science and Technology Park of Castilla-La Mancha (PCTCLM) in partnership with leading regional and national organisations, ESA BIC Castilla-La Mancha offers funding, mentoring, technical support and access to specialised infrastructures across four incubation locations in Albacete, Toledo, Ciudad Real and Illescas.
Our ambition is to help build the next generation of space-connected companies, attract talent and investment, and position Castilla-La Mancha as a growing hub for innovation and entrepreneurship within the European space ecosystem.
